Sept. 10-Dec. 17, every other Thursday, 6:30-8 p.m. — Leo to Leo: The Men Who Shaped Today’s Church: From Leo XIII in 1878 and to Leo XIV today, 12 men have been pope, an academic, a diplomat, a librarian, an actor, and a mountain climber. In a faith-sharing setting, we will meet each of these pontiffs and reflect on their lives and leadership in the light of Scripture. Led by Fr. Mark Miller.
Sept. 15, 22, 29, Tuesdays, 6:30-8 p.m. — Gathering at the Table: Gathering for a meal with family, friends, or new acquaintances is one of life’s joys. It does more than satisfy our basic need for food. Learn how to turn an ordinary meal into God’s banquet. Led by Lucia Ferrara.
Sept. 24-27, Thurs. evening to Sunday afternoon — Silent Directed Retreats: We know we should cultivate silence in our lives. Why do we resist it? If you want to “learn to better wait in silence,” a silent, directed retreat might be what you’re looking for.
Oct. 2-3, Friday evening to Saturday afternoon — Quilting Retreat: Take a break from the interruptions of everyday life! Join fellow quilters for a time dedicated to inspiration, camaraderie, and creating to your heart’s content. Led by Fr. Timothy Armbruster.
Oct. 8, Thursday, 6:30-8 p.m. — Spoken Soul: An evening of expression and creativity. Step into a space where voices matter. Whether you’re a poet, musician, storyteller, or simply a lover of creativity, Spoken Soul invites you to share, connect, and be inspired!
Oct. 12-Nov. 16, Mondays, 6:30-8 p.m. — Speaking of God: Honest Christianity for a World Seeking Hope. Part One: A book study with Fr. Ron Will will rediscover the Divine as a Presence woven into every moment: the ordinary, the messy, the joyful, and the unexpected, right where life happens.
Oct. 24, Saturday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. — Bread Making Retreat: A hands-on, heart-in community retreat for bakers of all ages, with or without breadmaking experience. A great activity for parents or grandparents and children, teens or couples. Inspired by Acts 2:42.
Oct. 31-Nov. 1, Saturday morning to Sunday noon — Autumn Triduum: Snapshots of Sanctity and Habits of Holiness: Led by Fr. Joe Nassal. Each autumn, we celebrate a Triduum of feasts — All Hallows Eve, All Saints, and All Souls — to remember how God makes us worthy to be saints by calling us children of God.
Dec.4-6, Friday evening to Sunday afternoon — Advent Retreat with Handel’s Messiah: We draw on the music and biblical lyrics of Handel’s Messiah to prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Led by Fr. Timothy Armbruster.
Dec. 11, Friday, 10 a.m.-Noon — St. Lucy Day Celebration: Lucia Ferrara will lead a traditional ceremony that includes planting wheat to celebrate St. Lucy, beloved in Sicily and Sweden.
Dec. 12, Saturday, 9-10:30 a.m. — Blue Christmas Celebration: The Christmas season can be difficult for someone experiencing feelings of grief, loss, and hardship. The Blue Christmas Service invites us into hope and healing through prayer, music, and community.
Dec. 21, Sunday, 6:30-8 p.m. — Winter Solstice Celebration: The longest night of the year also begins the return of the light. Join us for this celebration of light and dark, including a candlelight procession around the center’s Reconciliation Labyrinth.
