It is Seph Schlueter's (pronounced "shleeter") deep passion to awaken people’s hearts, help lead others into an encounter with Jesus, and give language to a relationship with God through his music. The Missionaries of the Precious Blood are hosting this concert as a gift to the people of God to bring joy and beauty into the lives of others, celebrating the gift of life we receive in the Precious Blood of Jesus. It is open to families and young adults and is free of charge for those who attend.
Seph was recognized as Christian Music Broadcaster’s Breakout Artist of 2024 and won the KLOVE Fan Award for Breakout Single of the Year. His title track “Counting My Blessings” has gone on to become a global sensation and has peaked at #1 on all four Christian radio charts. Priesthood Sunday

Paul Fey Organ Concert
A second concert is planned for October 2nd. This will be an Organ Concert by Paul Fey at St. Joseph Church on their new Opus 4 Organ. Following the concert there will be a social gathering. Paul is an organist from Leipzig, Germany who travels the world giving concerts and posting them on Facebook. He has a large Facebook following.
Deacon Sunday
Deacons deserve much affirmation for their tireless work, proclaiming the word of God, giving homilies, performing baptisms, and witnessing marriages, among other responsibilities.

Feast of St. John Vianney, patron of priests

You will have an opportunity to listen for God's voice in your life as you discern God's call for your vocation (life mission), learn tools for discernment. Have any faith questions? Bring them along. We will have time to answer them.
Feast of the Precious Blood
The Feast of the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ is celebrated on July 1 in the Catholic Church, a month dedicated to this devotion. Established in 1849 by Pope Pius IX to mark the redemption of mankind, the feast focuses on the Blood shed by Christ for salvation. It emphasizes adoration of this sacrifice and atonement for sins.
THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY, HELP OF CHRISTIANS
The liturgical celebration of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Help of Christians, was instituted in 1814 by Pope Pius VII during a difficult time of the Church and for the end of his exile. St. Gaspar del Bufalo, who also returned to Rome at the same time after four years in exile, wished to have the Blessed Virgin Mary, Help of Christians as patron of his Congregation. He consecrated all his ministries to her and directed that her image be exposed for veneration during the missions, and that her feast be celebrated annually in the churches of the Congregation. St. Maria De Mattias also loved this devotion very much, as we read in the Rule of 1838 and in many of the letters addressed to her daughters.
