Hosted by the Missionaries of the Precious Blood
The new organ at St. Joseph Church will be dedicated with a special concert by internationally acclaimed organist and composer Paul Fey. A native of Germany, Fey has quickly become one of the most distinctive and influential voices among a new generation of church and concert musicians.
His performances have taken him to some of the world's most renowned instruments, including the legendary Boardwalk Hall Organ in Atlantic City, the largest pipe organ ever built. He has also performed at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome during a Papal Mass celebrated by Pope Leo.
Among the most widely followed organists of his generation, Fey reaches more than 3 million viewers each month through his YouTube channel, inspiring audiences around the world with the beauty, power, and artistry of the pipe organ.

Paul Fey Organ Concert
A second concert is planned for October 2nd. This will be an Organ Concert by Paul Fey at St. Joseph Church on their new Opus 4 Organ. Following the concert there will be a social gathering. Paul is an organist from Leipzig, Germany who travels the world giving concerts and posting them on Facebook. He has a large Facebook following.

Feast of the Precious Blood
The Feast of the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ is celebrated on July 1 in the Catholic Church, a month dedicated to this devotion. Established in 1849 by Pope Pius IX to mark the redemption of mankind, the feast focuses on the Blood shed by Christ for salvation. It emphasizes adoration of this sacrifice and atonement for sins.
THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY, HELP OF CHRISTIANS
The liturgical celebration of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Help of Christians, was instituted in 1814 by Pope Pius VII during a difficult time of the Church and for the end of his exile. St. Gaspar del Bufalo, who also returned to Rome at the same time after four years in exile, wished to have the Blessed Virgin Mary, Help of Christians as patron of his Congregation. He consecrated all his ministries to her and directed that her image be exposed for veneration during the missions, and that her feast be celebrated annually in the churches of the Congregation. St. Maria De Mattias also loved this devotion very much, as we read in the Rule of 1838 and in many of the letters addressed to her daughters.
