Catholic school scholarships

$84,000 awarded to further Catholic education 

Missionaries of the Precious Blood places a strong emphasis on lifelong study of God’s teaching and on education in the Catholic tradition. In addition to our support for higher education at Calumet College of St. Joseph, Catholic Theological Union, and St. Joseph’s College, our missionaries serve in numerous parish schools and Catholic high schools.   

Pope Francis said, “Education cannot be neutral. It is either positive or negative; either it enriches or it impoverishes; either it enables a person to grow or it lessens, even corrupts him. The mission of schools is to develop a sense of truth, of what is good and beautiful.”  

In support of this mission, Missionaries of the Precious Blood provided $84,000 in scholarships in 2024 to students in our parish and high school communities for their Catholic education. Catholic schools offer children a holistic education, nurturing academic growth as well as spiritual, moral, and emotional growth, guiding students to use their skills and talents in service to God and his people.
