Rev. Timothy Armbruster, C.PP.S., celebrates 25 years of priesthood
Rev. Timothy Armbruster, C.PP.S., has dedicated his priestly life to serving the people of God with fidelity and generosity as a Missionary of the Precious Blood. Born on July 15, 1971, in Goodland, Kansas, he was baptized at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Goodland and later confirmed at Christ the King Church in WaKeeney, where his vocation began to take shape.
In 1991, Timothy entered Rockhurst College in Kansas City, Missouri, and began formal formation for religious life. He made his temporary incorporation into the Missionaries of the Precious Blood in 1997 at Sacred Heart Church in Sedalia. He later received the ministry of acolyte in 1999 and made his definitive incorporation in 2000 at St. James Church in Kansas City.
Timothy was ordained a deacon in 2000 by Bishop John R. Gaydos. On Aug. 18, 2001, he was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Joseph Charron, C.PP.S., at Christ the King Church, returning to the parish that had supported his early faith. Fr. Timothy’s priestly ministry has since included service across Missouri, Iowa, and beyond.
Fr. Timothy’s first assignment as associate pastor at St. Francis Xavier in St. Joseph, Missouri, established a pastoral ministry characterized by attentiveness and steady presence. He later served as pastor of St. Patrick in Sedalia and held several roles at St. James in Liberty, including parochial vicar, interim administrator, and part-time vocation director.
In 2019, he was appointed pastor of St. Mary in Centerville and St. Patrick in Melrose, Iowa, serving both parish communities with dedication. In 2024, Fr. TImothy returned to Liberty to join the staff of the Precious Blood Renewal Center, where he continues his ministry of hospitality, healing, and renewal.
Throughout 25 years of priesthood, Fr. Timothy has reflected the charism of the Precious Blood through a commitment to reconciliation, presence, and the conviction that Christ’s redeeming love is offered to all. His ministry has been rooted in pastoral care and a consistent desire to accompany others through the seasons of life.
As he marks his silver jubilee, we express gratitude to Fr. Timothy for his years of faithful service and the many ways his ministry has strengthened the communities he has served. May the years ahead continue to be blessed with grace, joy, and fruitful ministry.
