A message from the Provincial Director
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
In these days marked by the violence and uncertainty surrounding the war in Iran—a conflict born of fear, power, and the fragile limits of human striving—we turn our hearts to the Precious Blood of Jesus, poured out not in vengeance, but in mercy. The recent strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities and the escalating tensions that have followed remind us how quickly the world can descend into division and suffering. Yet even here, grace is not absent. God’s mercy is never outpaced by human conflict.
As Missionaries of the Precious Blood, we’re called to stand at the foot of the Cross, where violence is met not with retaliation, but with redeeming love. Christ’s Blood speaks a better word—a word of reconciliation, healing, and peace. We pray that those entrusted with leadership will be guided not by pride or fear, but by wisdom, restraint, and a sincere desire for the dignity of every human life. May hardened hearts be softened and may the cries of the innocent be heard above the noise of war.
We place our hope in the newly announced ceasefire efforts, praying that they’ll bear the fruit of lasting peace. May dialogue prevail over destruction, and may the negotiations open a path toward an enduring end to the conflict.
Let us not grow weary in hope. The Precious Blood reminds us that no situation is beyond redemption. Even now, God is at work, drawing all people toward peace; so, we pray—earnestly, faithfully—that the conflict may come to a swift and merciful end, and that from its ashes may rise a deeper commitment to justice, compassion, and communion.
May the Blood of Christ be our peace, and may it renew the face of the earth.
